Scripture: Jeremiah 29:11 (NIV)

For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

Devotion:

The blueprint for your life is a plan that was created and designed by God. It is meaningful and full of purpose. For the structure to be secure, the foundation must be solid. As the days move forward, there will be trials and tribulations that come and sometimes, it may look like the completion will not be finished but don’t give in or give up. Just hold on and remain committed to serve, praise, and worship.

Every day will bring something new and every day the enemy will try to find a way to distract you during your renovation season. He sees the calling on your life and does not want you to continue with your assignment. Recognizing his devices and tactics will hinder what he has set out to do which is to stop you. Despite what it may seem like, stay committed to the process while looking toward the hills from which your help comes from. God will not leave you nor forsake you.

Prayer:

Dear Lord,

First, I just want to say thank you. Thank you for the reconstruction that has taken place in my life. At times when I feel broken and unloved, I am reminded that all my broken pieces can become whole again with you and your love. As you hold the blueprints for my life, help me to remain focused while the work is being done. I may not understand the reasoning for things, but I will trust the process. Help me to respect and represent the renovation, the reconstruction, and the recreation as I raise my voice in praise and my hands in worship. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.

Reflection:

Take a moment with me as we reflect on our daily lives and well-being. Jot down on paper some of the things that you see are being restored and has been reconstructed. As you reflect on those things or areas, just remember that this is your season for sowing, growing, and reaping. Don’t let what life brings to cause you to hit the pause or stop button on the renovation that is going on outwardly and inwardly. God molds, shapes, and creates all his work into MASTER pieces. Just keep the faith, stay committed, and hold on to his unchanging hands.
